  1. Have you disabled the antivirus? I have Avast and had to whitelist the isy IP address.
  2. https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Admin_Console_is_very_slow_or_hangs Admin Console is very slow or hangs If the admin console is slow to respond, it is likely you need to increase the amount of memory allocated to the Java runtime (JRE). Open the Java Control Panel, select Java tab, press View button, then add or modify the Runtime Parameter -Xmx to the following: -Xmx512m Press Ok to close the window, then Press Apply to save the changes
  3. Don't see why is will not. This seems like it can change a state variable based on location. I have tasker sending a POST https to AutoRemote and update a variable on my phone. Do you have networking resources set up?
  4. I noticed the same thing when setting up certain zwave devices in new programs. Get the beach ball for more than 15-30 seconds. Happening on zwave door locks and rgb aotec bulbs.
  5. Do you have Avast? I see that you have windows, however, I have to disable the web protection for my Mac to get to the ISY. Took a few days to figure this out last time.
  6. Just tried to update and seem to lost everything. Programs are gone, variables are still there. Lost the Zwave. Going to have to put in a ticket. I did backup the ISY beforehand and tried to restore. Did not work. 1. performed a backup of the ISY 2. downloaded the udi_oadr_5.0.16.zip 3. Manually installed the udi_oadr_5.0.16.zip 4. Downloaded the MACOS version of the admin and dashboard 5. Cleared the Java cache 6. installed the MACOS version. 7. Zwave is not responding. Edit - was able to install the udi_oadr_5.0.16.zip and get the programs back. Zwave dongle is not responding. Edit- I have an external zwave and internal SEP card. EDIT: contacted Michel and evidently my ISY requires a unique build. System is up and running again. @Chris Jahn @Michel Kohanim
  7. I feel success now!
  8. Thanks. ?
  9. How about this? https://github.com/greghesp/assistant-relay I was going to look into running this on the RPI4 that I am running polyglot on. Currently having issues following the directions to get the google side online. May be this weekend.
  10. Is this a typo or is there an error
  11. Evidently I have been running my network resources without the check box "Use SNI". Once that is checked, then the pushover notifications are going through.
  12. Just curious... is your pushover working today? The last communication from the ISY on pushover was at 0800am this morning (25Oct). Then everything has stopped. Trying to figure it out and just wondering if it was something on my side.
  13. No idea. Leaving that to the professionals...
  14. Have you seen this? https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech/ Here is the pricing... https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech/pricing
  15. I installed two of these this weekend. The house is a 1930s home with two ceiling fans with a neutral wire. There is only one wall switch for both the light and fan. Located the device up in the hub of the fan. So far, so good.
  16. Did you try this one? I purchased one and can not for the life of me sync it. I have tried to reset it, remove and add it and nothing.
  17. One new ability that Alexa has is to speak/broadcast announcements based on events. Open the Alexa app, menu button and select routines. You can add a new routine based on a variable, switch or sensor. Alexa announces when the garage door opens or closes.... have fun.
  18. Still having issues with Alexa and Google home. The last few days it is been delayed but today it just will not work. Voice commands, web access not agave work right now. The ISY was rebooted this morning.
  19. I have both Alexa and Google home. Just tested the dimming by saying "turn dining room lights to 80%". Can confirm that Google Home doesn't see the light as setup. Can turn it on or off just not a %. Alexa works in both scenarios. One thing I just looked at is the way the portal (or I) set them up. In both cases they are set up as lights. I switched them to switches. After pushing the commands and waiting 5 minutes. I get the same results. Seems like it is a Google thing.... Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  20. Did try it once and had several errors. I was working on an autovoice, text file, REST to turn lights on and off. It just wasn't working for the secure https. Did work for the http but I didn't have the patience to trouble shoot. Maybe I need to give it another shot
  21. My biggest challenge with using rest is the SSL certificate not working correctly on the Android phones. I always get the message where I have to click continue. Frustrating.
