  1. I have an Insteon Leak sensor that just stopped working. The Led works when I press the button but in the AC, there is no status. No "on" or no "off" I am not getting any missed heartbeats and I have tried to trip the sensor to see of the status would change. When I query it, nothing happens. Any way to bring it back to life? It never got wet and it's not that old.
  2. Ok, I discovered that there is a column for programs to run at Start up on the summary page. I just disabled run at Start up on every program then enabled run at start up only the programs I want running at start up. That should work, Right? MV
  3. Makes Perfect Sense. Thanks MV
  4. Yes, I am the original owner. Not sure I follow you on disabling or deleting programs I created to turn of devices. I want those programs to run when they are supposed to, not at a reboot. Is there a setting for these programs not to run at reboot?
  5. I reboot my ISY994i from time to time, usually after I back it up. Every time I do, at some point during the reboot, all the lights, and I assume other devices that are linked to the ISY turn off. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks!
  6. Thank you so Much Mr. Bill. I'll try it out and let you know how it goes. MV
  7. Hi Mr. Bill, I neglected to follow this topic so I did not see your suggestion until recently and I was away for 3 weeks but I want to tell you what happened while I was gone. The northeast got clobbered by rain last week and I got water in the basement. The program did run and the 12 gallon wet vac was full of water when I got home so it did run properly. I do want the program to run in an endless loop until I can intervene. Not sure how to write the command in the "repeat while" architecture or how would it be written the other way. is just this simple? See Below: I would also like to change the message of the notification email to : Wet Vac Program has started. I know I need to do something in the following screen but not sure what the customized content would be. I copied all this programming stuff of the forum so although it may look like I know what I am doing, I just copied it, trial and error and got it to work. Lastly, The leak detector that triggered the program to run last week did not survive the event. So I need to replace it. I have added a new leak sensor to the system but I was wondering if there is a detailed procedure to replace it so I do not have to do all the reprogramming over again? Can I just rename the "wet" - "dry" and "heartbeat' nodes the exact same name as the dead sensor outside the folder, delete the dead sensor then move the nodes to the folder where the old nodes were? That seems too simple. Thanks for all the help. The dead sensor is Basement Turret. See Below:
  8. I have a basement that gets water every now and then so I have an Insteon water sensor placed that when I get a leak, it will turn on a Insteon ON / Off module that will run a wet vac and floor fans at a 5 minute interval with a 20 minute pause period then repeat 2 times. The program also sends me and email notifying me what is going on. We are having quite a storm here in the Northeast over the past couple days and I am getting some seepage in the basement. The leak sensor responded and I got the email but the program did not run. Have a look. What is wrong? MV
  9. Ok, I guess I would just replace all the capacitors if they will all fail after about two years. is there a kit somewhere or just order them from Amazon?
  10. So the Revision # on the back is 2.5 4718, and I'm hearing you cant buy a new one as Insteon had discontnued them. Is this correct? MV
  11. Ok, Had a little time to do a count. Plugged the PLM into a UPS and shielded it with a metal dome. 1st count - 1614 2nd Count - 1060 3rd count - 313 4th count - 3543 I will admit I did not unplug the UPS as the battery expires while the first few counts I tried were in progress. Something does not seem right. Is my only option taking the ISY and PLM to a separate structure that has no know Insteon traffic to get an accurate count? I did a PLM reset recently to try to get rid of the orphan links. But 3543 seems crazy high. In any event, It looks like I have to decrease the amount of links I have. Is there a tutorial or do I just have to convert scenes to programs? Thanks
  12. Ok, New issue. I tried to re install the 6-button on/off switch and it does not recognize the switch. I did a factory reset on the switch and tried again. Still wont recognize the switch after putting ISY in linking mode and pressing set button on switch. I tried rebooting the ISY and now I get the message Error-Discovering Nodes; Retry!. Rebooted again. Same thing. It's like I'm stuck in a loop. Any Ideas? MV
  13. Have not tried yet as I wanted to see how the count would come out after the reset and restore. So, to get an accurate count, take the ISY and PLM to a location with no Insteon devices, log into the ISY admin console, and run the links table count?
  14. Ok, So Performed the above and ran the ISY links table 5 times. Here are the results: Before doing the PLM reset, I got 991. After PLM Reset: 1st - 501 2nd - 289 3rd - 533 4th - 1166 5th - 992 What's up with that?
  15. Great, seems pretty straight forward. Do an ISY back up. Factory Reset PLM per Insteon instructions. then, File>Restore Modem (PLM). Then I guess it would make sense to do another Link count to see if any of those orphan links got wiped out. then, I will try adding those switches to see if all the buttons work. Thanks
  16. So I ran the Links Table count twice and came up with 991 each time. Any Comments?
  17. It’s a 2413S and a ISY994i/ir/Pro. so, it looks like I have the maximum link capacity. I’ll look at the link table to get the count.
  18. Yes, I tried that. I made one of the buttons a controller to a scene and it did not work. I then put one of the working button into the same scene and it did work. That’s why I first suspected the switch itself was bad. But when two new ones right out of the box did not work, I started this post.
  19. Thanks for that info. Is there a way to see if I have used up the link capacity in the PLM? I thought you had to have a Polisy to use Polyglot I am looking into Purchasing UDI’s Polisy. I have a few questions into presales, but would a newer version of the PLM handle more links? Any other way to increase capacity?
  20. I am not that skilled in changing components on a PC board. I have a back up PLM I could try if I cant get the switch to work by plugging it into the same circuit as the PLM. Yes, I have a lot of Vintage Insteon switches that are not dual band but they still exist in the system and as switches fail, I replace them with dual band switches. I guess I will always be playing catch up.
  21. ISY Error Log.v5.3.4__Sun 2021.09.05 05.52.49 PM.txt Here's the error log. I'll open a ticket. Thanks MV
  22. MrBill, Portal Tab Says Onlne:Resitered. License is active, expires 12-26-21.
  23. Is there a post detailing how to check the capacitors?
  24. When trying to get the mobile app to work, I discovered that I when I log into the online ISY portal, it says that it’s been off line since February. I have internet access enabled in the Administrative Console and my subscription is still active. The IP address for on line access is 10.0.0.75. That looks like an LAN address to me. what should I try?
