JoelW started following Link Confusion

Had a problem with a power outage for my PLM. Restored Power and with help was able to recover everything for my EISY system. I just noticed that for some reason, when my "random night lights" program runs, my outside deck lights turn on even though there is no mention of them in the program. I am guessing there is some kind of link issue. I ran the Show links routine for the switch that controls the lights directly (on the left in the attached image) and then ran the Compare function (the image on the right). Unfortunately, now I do not know how to fix whatever seems to be wrong here. Notes: 33.d7.b7 is an 8 port switch with one button to control those lights 34.E7.8B I cannot find anywhere in my list of devices or scenes. 33.10.4F is a switch in another room but should NOT be linked to the deck lights. How can I fix this?

Purchased and installed the pro version of audio player and installed the bluetooth addon. Set up the path to my music in the audio player and paired my bluetooth speaker. Tried to play the "Example.mp3" and no sound. Played around a bit and now it is stuck as shown below even after a restart of the admin console. Still no sound!!! Not sure what to do: Do I need scene control for this?

Okay, here is what I have done. 1. Purchased the Webhook Node Server 2. Installed it and I can see it in my EISY system 3. I went to the Maker page in my IFTTT account and I have my API Key. Not sure what to do with it. 4. Tried to create a UBIBOT External Probe temperature value to create a trigger for my EISY but I am not sure what to do from this point. I can create the "IF" section so it will trigger when the temperature falls below my set amount but then what do I do for the "THEN" section so I will see it in the EISY. HELP!!!

start.jnlp not starting on Win11 "Select app to open..."
JoelW replied to JoelW's topic in IoX Support
Thank you both for your suggestions. The link was broken and once I reset the link, it works as it did before. Not sure how it became disconnected but whatever - it is now okay!!! Thanks so much!!! -
All of a sudden, I am unable to run my ISY. I am running Win 11 and have Java latest version 8 installed. I downloaded a new copy of admin.jnlp and start.jnlp but whenever I try to run it, I get the following dialog: No matter what I choose, it does nothing. I even tried to run "http://192..../start.jnlp" and "http://192..../admin.jnlp" from the browser but still nothing happens. I have cleared the Java cache and have no idea why it will not run. The ISY is working and on the network as the programs are running correctly.

Okay, i have another Win 11 computer that it works on perfectly. So (why didn't I think of this first) I copied the details of the shortcut to my new computer and now it works. All i had to do was change the location of the Java EXE since I am now using the 64-bit version. Thanks Mr. Bill. I appreciate your trying to help me! This is how the shortcut looks. "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_321\bin\javaws.exe" -localfile -J-Djnlp.application.href=https://isy.universal-devices.com/launcher/isy.jnlp "C:\Users\Joel Weisbrod\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\14\7f87040e-3d68cc62"

I am double clicking to use start. Where should it be pointing?

I just installed a new computer with Windows 11. I followed the instructions for installing the Java runtime and downloaded the latest "Start.jnlp" from the site. Now, for some reason, it will not run. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks Michael! I did as you suggested and I am now up and running 100% on my ISY994i. Luckily, my PLM is working fine!

I made an attempt to change from my ISY9994i to a new Polisy. My attempt failed miserably! I worked with tech support but I have decided that I am going back to my ISY9994i. So, I disconnected the Polisy and reconnected the 9994i. All my devices work when I use the actual device or if I select the device in the admin console and toggle it on and off. My scenes do NOT work and my programs do not seem to work either. The programs seem to run (based upon the green on the icons) but they cannot talk to the system because I mostly have programs controlling the scenes. Also, if I go to a physical device and turn it on or off, ISY does not see it! My Alexa voice commands do not work either. This is probably because they are using scenes! If I add a new voice command for a DEVICE (not a scene) in the ISY portal, it works with Alexa. I checked the Topology and the scene id's in Alexa are correct! So far, I have removed the Polisy completely, deleted the Polisy from my ISY portal, run the restored devices routine, rebooted the 9994i, and even run the restore PLM but my conditions have not changed. I have run out of ideas to try. I would appreciate any help!

Polisy PLM , will it work with serial, usb or both types
JoelW replied to EricBarish's topic in IoX Support
So. I set up a cable adapter as indicated. I plugged the old RJ45 cable connected to the PLM into the adapter and into the Polisy... I still get the error on the admin console of the Polisy... Now what?
