kaveh Perhaps understanding why the On paddle should turn the SwitchLinc Off would help. It seems setting the local load to 1% would have the same physical effect.
-
It is a question for Smarthome support but I feel certain the SwitchLinc Local On Level cannot be set to 0% On Level. The effect would be to have the On paddle press have no function as far as turning On the local load.

Not sure how B button involved when C button is Controller <html><font color="red">[Failed]</font> 101-MasterBed.001.B (2C 0 1F 2)</html> Click on the Red Controller button below Scene. Post capture of screen showing responder values.
-
If a single ISY Scene with the three KPL buttons in red below the Scene name, are there pending writes (Green or Gray Icon with 1011 inside next to B button) ? If not there is a comm problem between KPLs. A Show Device Links Table of a KPL should show Controller links to the other KPL B buttons. Was that 50% test done by driving the Scene from the Admin Console or pressing a C button. Each Controller (PLM for Scene name or C buttons) have their own unique On Level and Ramp Rate values. Make sure the On Level of 50% is set for all the responders of the Controller being used.
-
At least the 3 KPL buttons have to be defined as Controllers of the Scene. The B buttons will be Red when defined as Scene Controller. This way pressing any B button will turn On the other B buttons.
-
"I then put the PLM back on the ISY, didn't touch any devices, and just did restore ISY from backup and restore PLM, " From this the device links were not restored. If other steps were taken then my conclusions would be wrong. The device links table can be viewed with a Show Device Links Table. They CANNOT be manually changed by the ISY.
-
The ISY/PLM is not in synch with the devices. Indigo created all the device links which will not match the order in which the ISY had created them. The ISY always links the PLM and devices when Scenes are created. The ISY created PLM to device links are missing at the device level. Plus whatever individual link record changes have been made. There is a File | Restore Devices which will bring the devices to the ISY level of information. At present you have a disaster with the ISY and PLM totally out of sync with the devices. You cannot correct this by manually altering link records.
-
Directly modifying link records is not supported with the ISY. Define an ISY Scene, add KPL button as a Controller, add the device being acted on as a Responder. Scene xxxx KPL Button 2 - Controller LampLinc - Responder Click on KPL Button 2 below Scene name. Set the desired On Level and Ramp Rate. The Scene definitions were likely created when the devices were added if "Add devices found in links and keep existing links" option was chosen. Click the button definition in the devices list. The Scenes in which the button is part of displays on the right side.

You need some ISY,programs to cycle the FanLinc Fan through its 4 possible speed settings with a single Mini Remote Scene button. Have you created those? The example Scenes happen to match the KPL buttons. The Mini Remote buttons need to be removed (not added) to the example Scenes.
-
Describing how you want/are using the KPL and Mini Remote buttons would help. An example would be SceneLights KPL 6 button ONOFF - Controller Mini Remote 4 Scene a button - Controller FanLinc Lights - Responder SceneFanHigh KPL 6 button A button - Controller KPL 6 button B button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button C button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button D button - Responder 0% On Level Mini Remote 4 Scene b button - Controller FanLinc Fan High - Responder SceneFanMed KPL 6 button B button - Controller KPL 6 button A button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button C button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button D button - Responder 0% On Level Mini Remote 4 Scene c button - Controller FanLinc Fan Med - Responder SceneFanLow KPL 6 button C button - Controller KPL 6 button A button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button B button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button D button - Responder 0% On Level Mini Remote 4 Scene d button - Controller FanLinc Fan Low - Responder SceneFanOff KPL 6 button D button - Controller KPL 6 button A button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button B button - Responder 0% On Level KPL 6 button C button - Responder 0% On Level FanLinc Fan Off - Responder KPL secondary buttons set for non-toggle On mode. Program If Mini Remote button b is switched Off Or Mini Remote button c is switched Off Or Mini Remote button d is switched Off Then Set Scene 'SceneFanOff' On Else

How to add a button to MobiLinc via the ISY99 to turn on TV
LeeG replied to impossible's topic in ISY994
Under Configuration | IR there is a Enter Learning Mode button. The process is covered in the ISY User Guide. The IR codes should be RC5 (used by Philips) based. I don't know what type IR codes are used by a Sharp TV. -
Looks like 1% is the lowest Local On Level the On paddle will go with the local load.
-
The nearest I have is a v.44. A 0% Local On Level is ignored (does not disable On paddle) and the device turns On to 100%. When a Responder the device does not turn On but the On paddle always turns the device On to some level.
-
Thanks. I'll see if i have that level here to test. Are you trying to prevent the On Paddle from working with a 0% On level? As a Responder 0% On Level turns the device Off but I'm not sure the On paddle can be disabled that way.
-
Easy enough to find out. Using a 1% Local On Level, double tap On paddle to go to 100% On. Turn the SwitchLinc Off. Single tap the On paddle, what On Level does the device go to. What is the device firmware level?
-
Refer to the device User Guide around pages 9-12 (depends on device firmware), regarding Resume Bright. It can be set to honor the Local On Level setting or use the last On Level. It sounds like it is configured to go to the last On Level. This is set using the configuration steps in the User Guide.

If the candles are powered by dimmers, or at least some of them, the Ramp Rates can be set at different rates so the candles appear to be turned on at different times.

"What I am trying to figure out is why any of them would be green given the time restriction for the C.EVENING " The Green/Red flags reflects the True/False If evaluation the last time the Program was triggered. Has nothing to do with what the Folder now allows. When the ISY is rebooted last trigger status is lost. The lack of Program last trigger status after the Admin Console stops responding sounds like the ISY may have rebooted. Simply restarting the Admin Console would not lose Program trigger status. Check the ISY Log.

An Insteon SwitchLinc has a single paddle. There is an Insteon 6 button KeypadLinc with the small center buttons being A,B,C,D. I'm not questioning the terminology for its own sake. Users here will not know about a 6 button SwitchLinc. That is why the previous suggestion did not apply.

Sorry, I thought you were referencing the Dashboard Locate Me.
-
What is the Longitude value? The 4.2.18 Dashboard was accessed?
-
I did the post from memory. Sorry if I missed a point. Scyto Refer to the 4.2.22 post on new features/function.
-
Image 4.2.22 added logic to send queued updates to a battery device when the device is activated such as a Motion Sensor sensing motion. Gray the last Icon on a Pro model so the pending updates for a battery device are marked with a Gray 1011 Icon. Do the changes to the battery device so the updates are pending. Then activate the device. It does not work on all devices on the Insteon network but is handy for those where it does work.

Detecting if water leak detectors or motion sensors are working

Good point. I watch my ISYs so closely every day the need to do that did not come up but it is right thing to do. -

A Leak Sensor Heartbeat Program. It displays X10 traffic and is no longer marked Running 'Then' if Heartbeat message stops. Note that Motion Sensors have no Heartbeat message. HeartBeat - [iD 0044][Parent 0001] If Control 'Leak Sensor-Dry / Leak Sensor-Heartbeat' is switched On Or Control 'Leak Sensor-Dry / Leak Sensor-Heartbeat' is switched Off Then Wait 25 hours Send X10 'A10/All Lights On (5)' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
