Sensing mode: checked On Only mode: unchecked Night mode: checked Use a Program to turn the SwitchLinc Off If Control 'motion sensor - Sensor' is switched On Then Wait xx seconds Set 'switchlinc' Off Else The Program turns the switchlinc Off xx seconds after the last motion is sensed. All motions will be detected with these options.

  4. What happens to pre ISY links depends on the option used when adding the device to the ISY. The default 'remove existing links' and 'add devices and remove links' will erase existing links. The last option 'add devices and keep existing links' will keep the existing links. Regardless of which option links will be added to link device with PLM. Using one ISY Scene with multiple Controllers (each KPL button) the Scene will insure that only the appropriate button LED is On. There are cases where other Scenes are needed to turn Off button LEDs but the case where A,B,C,D are setting a unique load On Level normally other ISY Scenes are not needed.
  5. Why is the ISY being turned Off? Is the PLM also turned Off? The KeypadLinc has links to the PLM which will cause errors at the KeypadLinc if the PLM is not available.
  6. It sounds like a Delete Modem (PLM) was issued. Was that function every used? If so the PLM link information is gone from the ISY. Need to go back to an earlier ISY backup and then do a Restore Modem (PLM).

  8. Check the Folder Status that contains the Scene. Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3 so the actions that are actually performed are traced. Too many things are not happening to believe the Scenes are actually being invoked.
  9. There is a Refresh button at the top right that will likely correct the display. I have seen the Admin Console not refresh when it has been executing for a long time. Can also try restarting the Admin Console.
  10. The Status has to change to trigger the Program so there will not be continuous emails. Of course if the Zone switches to violated multiple times there would be multiple emails.

  12. The motion sensor options posted will generate a motion On after 1 minute even if constant motion is sensed. I think that is why it looks like the program is not responding when it is the motion sensor options that do not permit a motion On without the full 1 minute between. Set the motion sensor options as Sensing mode : checked On only mode : not checked Night mode : checked The motion sensor will generate motion On messages with each motion and not wait for the 1 minute timeout.
  13. Tap the Set button 4 times on one Range Extender. Look at the LED on the other Range Extender. The LED on the second Range Extender should be blinking and the LED should be Green.

  15. Click the Sensor node. Put the motion sensor into linking by pressing Set button until Red LED blinks continuously. This keeps the motion sensor awake. Click the Options button at the bottom of the Sensor node display.
  16. Are some of the installed Insteon working? If so are they all on the same 120v leg? Might have lost phase coupling either because an Access Point (Range Extender) has failed for perhaps as simple as being unplugged or moved to a different socket that does not provide coupling.
  17. Should not be a problem triggering two programs. Each motion sensed will start both program over from the beginning. Without knowing the motion sensor options it is not possible to say how often a motion On is sent.
  18. Power was applied backwards. Plug in PLM first. Then power the ISY. When the ISY is powered it looks for a PLM. If not found the ISY enters Safe mode. The PLM does not indicate its presents when finally powered so the ISY is not aware the PLM has come online.
  19. Post the Program. I suspect the issue is the Program is bring triggered by each motion. Also need the motion sensor options.

  21. Generating an actual Wet and Dry condition does NOT generate a Heartbeat message. Note the timestamps and the wording in my earlier posts. When the Set button is tapped and either a Wet or Dry message is generated there is approx 15 second delay before the event trace at level 3 will trace the Heartbeat message.   22. Turning an individual device On/Off with Direct commands from the ISY operate only that device. That is how SmartLabs designed Insteon devices. Insteon always operated that way. Otherwise logical loops could occur where devices not in the specific Scene could/would react. To manipulate the ISY Scene and have both devices turn On/Off select the ISY Scene and turn the Scene On/Off.
  23. The Insteon video does not assume any HA Controller. HouseLinc, Homeseer, ISY, none would be aware of a change in either switch when manual linking is done. DO NOT manual link when using ISY. Factory reset both devices Right click one device node and select Restore Device; when done do the other device Define an ISY Scene and add both devices as Controllers in the ISY Scene

The Heartbeat node indicates the device is functional every 24 hours. Device could have a low battery, not be in range of a Dual Band device, not functional, if the Heartbeat node message does not occur. If Control should be used in Program that is monitoring the Heartbeat node If Control 'Leak Sensor-Heartbeat' is switched On Or Control 'Leak Sensor-Heartbeat' is switched Off Then Wait 25 hours Send X10 'A10/All Lights On (5)' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  25. Tap the Set button on the Leak Sensor. That will generate a message for either the Dry or Wet node, Each Set button Tap message alternates between the Dry and Wet nodes. After approx 15 seconds a message is generated for the Heartbeat node..
