I'm back trying to make this work, when I say "play" the Fire Cube will play content, same when I say "pause" it will pause content. I'd like Alexa to also run a lighting scene with the command. I made two ISY programs called play and pause that have the lighting scene I want for each command in the programs. When I say "turn on pause" the Fire Cube pauses content and lighting scene in that program is run but when I say "turn on play" just the lighting scene in that program runs and Fire Cube doesn't play content, I'm confused
I'm trying to create a routine where when the pause command is given to Alexa it will trigger an ISY lighting scene along with pausing tv, problem is Alexa doesn't like "pause" as a phrase for the routine. Is there a way to accomplish this?
I'm having an issue with two devices turning on randomly and when I check the log they don't show any activity. Then I just tried to open the log in the admin console and it says it can't open it. Any ideas on what's causing this?
I'm puzzled, last night I tried writing updates to the IRLinc and all the buttons with no joy, tried it again just now starting with the IRLinc itself and then the buttons individually and after I did one of those all seems fine.
It's a IRLinc receiver, I'm using link management to link the buttons, it was all working fine, I then added a few more links when it did this. I've tried writing updates to the IR Linc and linked buttons but the green barrel appears again after the process
I was linking buttons into IRLinc when I got an error message the ISY was trying to find nodes. Now on admin console IRLinc and all buttons linked have the green football on them. What did I do wrong and how can I fix it? Thanks
When I activate the scene via ISY the on level and ramp rate do what the scene is set at, it's when I use the button on the Ipad that it doesn't get the settings. The lights all react, just not to the settings in the scene
I,m not sure, the way I had it set up before was the Global Cache got the wifi command from Ipad, sent that via ir to the IR Linc, which had the on level and ramp speed linked to it. Now IR Linc only recognizes the button which corresponds to the scene set in ISY
Actually Paul, there is an issue, the IR Linc buttons connected to the ISY with no problem but when I execute a scene linked to the button it doesn't recognize on level or ramp rate.
