Awesome, device looks nice and sleek for sure. Looks like with PLMs coming around hopefully Q12023 from Insteon and EISY shipping maybe by EOY will be a nice timing of everything. Interesting you're going with HDMI outputs and actually including a GUI. Is UD considering updating the web interface dashboards to go along with the possibility of HDMI outputs for connected dashboard screens?

Idk about several times. And the reasoning really hasn't been said why UD is moving away from Polisy to EISY. From what I can gather from this post and some other obscure ones is. Those that own Polisy will be fine for the foreseeable future. EISY is replacing Polisy. UD doesn't do a fantastic job of letting people know what the "future" of UD is and if you ask you get answers like they've never done that or why are you asking, you sound bitter. But. Just know. Sometime somewhere somehow for right now EISY is the next product. Preorders sometime ... well ... Sometime. (last was now late Nov for preorder)

Not trying to gripe I didn't jump on the Polisy train because the ISY was just fine. Based on looking around at different posts though Polisy hardware isn't going to be produced anymore? I'm more interested in what the future of UDI is I guess. Those that do have the Polisy is good. Those that still are in the ISY world, we're left out. With no new hardware in sight (like you said eisy isn't being really promoted yet) it's harder for those to see what the future is for UDI. Totally agree that based on the past that there's never been any real timelines or roadmaps that UDI has ever done. I'm just suggesting that maybe some hype of things to come on maybe a roadmap of sorts would be welcome to those that are interested in jumping on with UDI today. The matter post is a whole different thing. Seeing the hype of Matter it's interesting, but seeing HA protocols and other things go by stand up just to get thrown out again, it'll be interesting if mainstream manufacturers actually adopt it. I just go with Insteon was one of the best, UDI helped integration of Insteon and other protocols. Now the future is unknown where everything is going to land. Anyways cheers and hope UDI is around for the forever future.

I'm not talking about chip shortages or even hardware delays. I'm talking about product roadmaps. Those that are lucky enough to have a Polisy sure. But there aren't any of those. Eisy is now a new thing, but you'd never know if you didn't scrub the forums for new info. A roadmap doesn't have to have detailed timelines. But let's at least get something out that shows what the next steps are.... I don't need UDI generally doesn't do something, again, I've been an insteon and UDI supporter for a very long time.

As someone that's been a universal devices supporter for a long time (since 2009) ... It's hard to keep seeing the delays, hardware and software. I can judge all I want lol. Problem is universal devices has never been on track... I just wish they'd make something more solid. Look up eisy... There's nothing about it. Maybe a roadmap? Something that can tell us what the future is... Nada.

I like new toys sure. We just keep hearing about Matter and I'm wondering if it's going to be like RCS. HA I'd love to see some unified protocol that makes it easier but in all the years I've been doing this. Matter doesn't look like everyone is going to jump on board.
-
Just curious why do we care about Matter? It's been talked about for quite some time and still basically no devices support matter. With yet another protocol, what's so great about this one? I still think it's sad seeing the state of Insteon as it was still one of the best functioning protocols out there.

So... When might this actually be coming out? I saw somewhere in another thread mid-september? Polsy is still on the store page obviously sold out. I'm ready to upgrade from my isy (esp since it hasn't had an update in over a year)
-
So are we not going to see any future updates for the isy? Seems like it's been quite a long time since I've seen an update.

@TJF1960 - you are correct. yes, only when the lights are switched on via the switch. there's no other switches in the house (besides an all off button) that control the bathroom lights. @brad77 - good idea. that might work, i'll try it again when i get home. one additional program to stop that program if you actually turn off the lights manually.
-
that's what i was afraid of, it does look like that's what it's doing. any ideas on how to get this type of program to work? what i want to do is: when the two lights are turned on wait 15 minutes turn on and off the 1st.Bath1.Light.Shower and 1st.Bath1.Fan repeat 4 times then turn the lights to 50% wait 2 minutes then turn the lights off
-
Also to mention the last run time updates as well every 15 seconds on both programs.
-
It never gets past the first commands. As soon as it dims the lights to 1% it restarts the program, the lights stay dim for 15 seconds and get bright again. Always repeats it seems as soon as the first dim action. The last part of the program should set the condition to false as it should because I want the lights off at that point.
-
don't do a "from", do a "time is" for the schedule ... that should give you the desired result.

guys, for some reason this isn't working properly and i can't figure out why. for some reason it just keeps restarting the "bathroomblink" program without continuing. I'm running version v2.7.7 (note, i have the 15 seconds in there as a test, it's really going to be 15 minutes) any ideas what i'm doing wrong??? Program: Bathroom If Status '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' is not Off And Status '1st.Bath1.Light.Overhead' is not Off Then Run Program 'BathroomBlink' (Then Path) Else Run Program 'BathroomBlink' (Else Path) Program: BathroomBlink If - No Conditions - (To add one, press 'Schedule' or 'Condition') Then Repeat 4 times Wait 15 seconds Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' 1% Set '1st.Bath1.Fan' Off Wait 2 seconds Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' Fast On Set '1st.Bath1.Fan' On Repeat 0 times Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Overhead' 50% Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' 50% Wait 2 minutes Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' Off Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Overhead' Off Set '1st.Bath1.Fan' Off Else Stop program 'BathroomBlink' i've also tried this variation of the program: Program: Bathroom If Status '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' is not Off And Status '1st.Bath1.Light.Overhead' is not Off Then Run Program 'BathroomBlink' (Then Path) Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Program: BathroomBlink If - No Conditions - (To add one, press 'Schedule' or 'Condition') Then Repeat 4 times Wait 15 seconds Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' 1% Set '1st.Bath1.Fan' Off Wait 2 seconds Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' Fast On Set '1st.Bath1.Fan' On Repeat 0 times Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Overhead' 50% Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' 50% Wait 2 minutes Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Shower' Off Set '1st.Bath1.Light.Overhead' Off Set '1st.Bath1.Fan' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
