Priority 2 Pushover Alerts Fail to iPhone
Hi Paul, You nailed it again. In the Pushover app there is a setting for enabling the Critical Alerts for Emergency which apparently are #2. I enabled this and have the red alert now and the sound comes through. Honestly, never knew the volume was adjustable on Critical alerts. If this doesn't get my attention, my wife's or anyone around us on the deafening setting if there is a smoke or CO alert nothing will. So in summary.. you need to add the "retry" & "expiry" settings as well as ensure the Pushover app is enabled for Emergency Alerts. I changed the 60 seconds to 30. That seemed like the minimum. I tried 20 and under and it failed. I do see these settings on the Pushover site and not sure how I missed it before. Thanks for your guidance and all you do here as always! You could have saved a life or my pets (2 birds & 2 dogs) in the future. Best, Stan

Many thanks Paul.. I’ll check more into that and might reach out to Pushover if nothing obvious turns up. You got me further than before :). Thank you

Priority 2 Pushover Alerts Fail to iPhone
Thanks Paul.. Although I don't get an error when including those changes now I lose the sound and the alert changes to time sensitive losing the red exclamation. Here is a screenshot of my home screen showing both the priority 1 in red and the priority 2 that looks plain. I'm not as concerned as the exclamation but no alert tone bypass would be an issue. I did try changing orders like putting the sound right after priority and after the retry/expire and didn't seem to change that. Here is my last test line: token=XXXX(replaced for forum)&user=XXXX(replaced for forum)&priority=2&retry=60&expire=3600&sound=persistent&device=Stan_iphone&message=Home Fire Alert!!

Priority 2 Pushover Alerts Fail to iPhone
Hi Paul.. Apologies for any confusion.. I made assumptions based on my use of Pushover as I only use it with network resources for Pushover alerts on my iPhone. The screen capture is a result running a test for the network resource. I don't know how resource uses the Pushover backend such as the email error that is displayed. I am doing this on my ISY and was not sure what other section would be more suitable but happy to move it there if there is a better place to create it. It will work fine until I change the priority to 2. Config in Network Resources: POST /1/messages.json HTTP/1.1 Host: api.pushover.net:443 User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 Connection: Close Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Content-Length: 145 token=XXXX(replaced from actual)&user=XXXX(replaced from actual)&priority=1&sound=persistent&device=Stan_iphone&message=Home Fire Alert!!

Priority 2 Pushover Alerts Fail to iPhone
Hi there everyone! I have not attempted to enable a Priority 2 Pushover alert to date and have used Priority 1 till now. I just installed a Zooz DC signal sensor tied into my linked smoke/CO detector system. Everything works well with Priority 1 but if I try to use Priority 2 I get an error for TCP Client. I assume this is a iPhone limitation but just wanted to see if others might have been through this or have a workaround. I did try to do some searches and did not come up with anything related. Thanks as always for your thoughts! Best, Stan

Does anyone know of an Email Service for ISY994?
Might sound strange but try to put something in the From* field (Edit.. I see Geddy also mentioned this above). I recall I had an issue and that resolved it for me and it still works (not using default myself as that had issues some time ago). Likely gmail rejecting if blank. I also do not fill out the full @gmail.com and only use my user ID and it works fine. Doubt that is it but worth a try if you still have issues. As you already mentioned do make sure you use the App PW. It will not work without that for sure.

AT&T texting alternative for wife
2nd Pushover.. ever since e-mail to text got spotty some years back with T-Mobile I finally took the plunge about a year ago. Rock solid and the customizations are great with the critical alert in those needed situations. More reliable than a text or e-mail trust me. It never fails.

Can no longer send notifications to tmobile phones
Ok, I'm not familiar with the Gmail workspace and if it functions the same. Are you using a "App Password" for Gmail? I believe you need this to make it work as a more secure environment. Not sure that will work with your domain setup. You could always just try a standard Gmail account and test. This could help also -

Doesn't the user need to be a gmail account or did you not update the SMTP server settings? Seems you are using a gmail SMTP but a ID for sandbergweb.com.

Had the same with T-Mobile over some time and finally switched to Pushover about a year ago now. Works way better and reliable with customization like Critical override. Worth the $5 if it is still that price.

Geofence Default Notifications
Sorry if this has been answered already but searching did not seem to have a clear answer. Are there default notifications for the UD Geofence when crossing in/out like Locative does? I believe the answer is "no" but before I look at other options, I just wanted to be sure I was not missing something. Thanks in advance.. Stan

Pushover with variables possible?
Thanks again Maxnorth.. Just wanted to share the entire message is working just as it was with e-mail. I thought maybe it could create a limit issue but doesn't seem that way. I should have done this a long time ago!
