royceconnerley Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I like the remote access capability of the ISY. I use it when at work or out of town. Unfortunately, if my router or cable modem has a problem, I can't get to the ISY. If I could have the ISY periodically try to ping an an address on the internet, and if the site was not ping-able, momentarily turn off the ApplianceLinc powering my router and modem, the ISY could detect some failures and attempt to recover from them. Something like: If Time is 3:00:00AM And www.google.com is Down Then Set Scene 'Router and Modem' Off Wait 5 seconds Set Scene 'Router and Modem' On
Michel Kohanim Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 royceconnerley, Very cool idea ... a great candidate for Trigger 2.0. royceconnerley Posted April 11, 2008 Author Posted April 11, 2008 When will Trigger 2.0 be available?
Michel Kohanim Posted April 12, 2008 Posted April 12, 2008 Hello royceconnerley, We are currently designing it based on all the feedback we've received. Thus I am not in a position to give you any concrete dates yet. I shall keep you posted. Also, is your blackberry still causing a system hang? If so, please let me know. With kind regards, Michel When will Trigger 2.0 be available?
