Logging events from a zone w/o triggering alarm

A motion sensor caused a false alarm (with Elk M1 system). I would like to check this motion sensor before it causes another false alarm.

 

I would like to program the zone such that when the system is armed (in away mode), it only log events without triggering the alarm.

I can program zones using Elk RP software.

 

How can I program the motion sensor to only log events? Is there a better/recommended way to test the motion sensor.
