No Pressure
Continuing from an earlier thread with this different issue... My EZSnSRF doesn't see signals from a Dakota Driveway Sensor. The EZSnSRF does see other devices. This doesn't seem to be an ISY or Insteon issue but LeeG has been kind enough to comment so I'll try to get it resolved here. Answering your questions- 1. When I started having trouble I moved all of the devices to my office. The driveway sensor is about 6' from the EZSnSRF. I assume that bar is a big magnet of some sort so I am keeping it way from the three computers that now clutter my desk. 2. It has a unique code and has been power cycled since I last changed the dip switches. 3. As you noted the engine is an I2CS. Firmware level? Next to connected it says v1C. 4. The last received RF code doesn't change after the sensor LED lights up I'm going to poke around the web to find the use of the pots and jumpers inside the Dakota. I (probably) won't touch anything, yet.
No Pressure
I just went back and checked the manuals. My order indicated a WMA 3000 Driveway sensor. But I received a DCPT-2500. The push button that I have is a 3000 series device. So is the motion detector. And they both work. So now I have to look and see if there is anyway to make the systems compatible...or I will return this one.
LeeG
That is the problem. The 2500 series devices are not compatible with the 3000 series which is what the EZSnsRF requires.
