jcedot2 Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I can no longer open the "My ISY" console using this lick 'http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/' . The java wheel just turns. I tried clearing the cache and still nothing. I have had this issue form day one. Any thoughts??
Brian H Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Have you updated to the latest revision of Java? It is 1.7.0_21. Version 7 Update 21. On my computer. What version of firmware are you running?
jcedot2 Posted June 12, 2013 Author Posted June 12, 2013 I am running Java 1.7.0_21. Version 7 Update 21. Not sure about the firmware since I can t open the admin console.
Michel Kohanim Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 Hi jcedot2, What's your operating system and have you made sure you do not have any older versions of Java still installed? With kind regards, Michel
jcedot2 Posted June 14, 2013 Author Posted June 14, 2013 Windows 7. Yes. I have only the latest version of Java installed. I was able to op the administrative console yesterday, but today I am experiencing the same problem. Very frustrating
arw01 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 What anti-virus software are you running? Which browser are you running? Do you have the 'http://www.universal-devices.com as a trusted site if you are using IE? Never use IE myself, unless it's required by the website to function properly. Once Google came out with Chrome, I even moved from Firefox instantly. Never, had any issue with the admin console on Chrome. If your problem is browser independent, than there is an issue further up the food chain here.
jcedot2 Posted June 14, 2013 Author Posted June 14, 2013 AVG free anti virus, Firefox browser. I believe this is an issue with the GUI of the ISY99i. It would seem that tech support from Universal Devices should be aware of this
Michel Kohanim Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Hi jcedot2, We are not aware of any issues resembling yours. Please submit a ticket and we'll get to the bottom of it. With kind regards, Michel
jcedot2 Posted June 14, 2013 Author Posted June 14, 2013 Another issue that I recently discovered: I have two acces points coupling the power phases. I recently lost coneection to two devices that are ont he opposite phase of my PLM. I found one of my access points unplugged so I a plugged it back in and reconnected the two APs. I still can not coomunicate to the two devices on the opposite phase. Any thoughts?
LeeG Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 jcedot2 Do the 4 tap Set button test on both Access Points. Do both Access Points pass the test?
