Insteon Micro On/Off 2443-222 Not linking with isy99

Recommended Posts

I have an exiting Insteon system, with about 7 devices being controlled by an isy99. I havent had any issues for the last 2 years. I recently wired in a Micro On/Off module that works at the point of installation but will not link up with the ISY. I have tried manually linking and auto linking with no luck.

Any ideas?

Are you using the last avilable firmware update 3.3.10 for your ISY99i?

There is a good chance the 2443-222 support was added to a later revision firmware that is for the ISY994i only. Due to limitations to the firmware storage space in the ISY99i.

Yeah the firmware is indeed 3.3.10. I backed up and re-installed the firmware again. Still no luck. My access points wont even link up and say they are now unsupporeted devices. I have two 2443 Acces Points.

Hi D Rock,

ISY is compatible with this module as long as you have 3.3.10.

I suspect the device is reporting a different cat/subcat that ISY does not know about. Do you have more of these devices? Can you go to Help | About and ensure that your firmware is 3.3.10?

With kind regards,

Michel
