Wish for new Program Examples topic

Hi guys. I'm a newbee here,and am excited to find so many knowledgable folks ready to help. The site is a wealth of knowledge on the isy and insteon. I purchased a number of devices and am now learning to program it etc... And it works exceptionally well. Much better than the old x10 stuff i played with ten years ago.

 

Maybe for other new folks, a place could be made to easily share Isy programs that are known to work well.

 

For instance, how to monitor a water detector with assurance that it is working...

Or what the program should look like to monitor for a low battery in a motion detector?

 

I could go on, but this is not the place.

Thanks so very much for the feedback and you are very much correct. We should have a repository of sample programs. Forum is not the right place for it simply because the programs are mixed with explanations and possible workaround.

 

Our Wiki, however, does have very many sample programs and tutorials (but unfortunately not those you had listed):
