rayg Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I was having difficulty with ISY sending emails and thought it might need a permanent IP assigned. I must have made a mistake entering the Ip and now the device is working fine but I can't see it on my network and obviously can't access its Web Server to run the admin console. Device is still working fine so I left it alone while I was out of town. Now I'm back and need to fix. Is my only (easiest) option to go back to factory settings and restore from backup? I don't have an adapter to go from usb to Serial in order to connect via serial and access console that way. ...Ray
oberkc Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 What happens when you try this one: http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.1.0/admin.jnlp
oberkc Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Are you able to log into your router settings and see any IP assignments? Bad or loose cable? Unfortunately, my knowledge of such things is pretty limited.
LeeG Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 What LEDs on the front of the ISY are On? If the new IP address is not valid something more than the Power LED will be On. If only the Power LED is On the new IP address is valid for the local network which I would think would be identifiable from the Router.
