wiredinoc Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Hi! Sorry I'm sure this has been covered a million times, just not sure what to search for. I have a water feature in my back yard, and a program set to turn it on at 6pm, wait for 2 hours, last step turn it off. I have a keypadlink 4 button inside the house, with "c" set as an on/off for the water feature. The program rolls in, turns does it's job, and when it's done, the light on the keypad remains on. I'm trying to figure out how to have the program turn the light back off when it's complete. I've tried to set "set insteon" off for the keypad channel in the program and it does not work. Any thoughts? Thanks!
LeeG Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 Secondary KeypadLinc buttons have to be turned On/Off with a Scene. Define an ISY Scene with KPL button C as a Responder. The Program turns the Scene Off to turn KPL button C LED Off.
Xathros Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 If KPL-C is already controlling the water feature, this tells me that you already have a scene in which the KPL-C is a controller. If that is the case, then the program should be turning the scene On/Off rather than the device that powers the water feature. -Xathros
