Making a device control a scene

Featured Replies

I have an Insteon keypad button that is a responder to a scene. I'd like to also make it a controller for that scene. Is there a way to "add" the controller capability? I can't seem to find a way to do that. Instead, I remove the button from the scene, then add it back to the scene and indicate that I would like it to be both a responder and a controller. This works fine, but I assume there must be a way to accomplish this in a single step, rather than in two steps.

Thanks in advance for any help ...

You have to Remove the node from the Scene and then add it back as a Controller.

Insteon allows a node to be a Controller of only 1 Scene so be sure the node is not already a Controller before doing the Remove.
