bsobel Posted November 26, 2013 Share Posted November 26, 2013 This is most likely caused by a physical issue (noise on the line or other signal attenuation to that device). Is the device dual band? What kind of device, what kind of load, what else is on the same circuit? In my experience playing with these variables eventually results in resolving the problem but it will take some time to track down why. apostolakisl Posted November 27, 2013 Share Posted November 27, 2013 Is the device functional when used manually? If the failure to communicate persists, in my experience, it is a dead device. Noise can cause temporary failures, but rarely do they persist. . . unless you have added something to your house that is very noisy and on all the time. . . but then multiple devices would be failing.
