shannong
Greetings. When I try to add my 2441ZTH (v.oD) to my ISY (4.0.5), it fails and says "Cannot determine device link table address". I can add it to HouseLinc just fine and control it so I don't think there's an issue with the device. BTW. I'm very new to the ISY994i and HA in general so when asking questions or making suggestions you'll have to be very specific. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi shannong, Welcome! Please make sure your thermostat is close to another dual band device and/or access point. Or, perhaps you can move your ISY/PLM to the same location as HouseLinc used to be. Also, please note that ISY and HouseLinc cannot coexist. And, finally, please make sure you are in master mode and that your thermostat is powered through an adapter otherwise it might be sleeping. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment

I'm sitting with the thermostat between two Dual-Band dimmer switches about 5 ft away in either direction. The ISY/PLM is in the same media closet as the previous server/PLM with Houselinc installed. I deleted the thermostat from Houselinc before attempting to add it to ISY. I also imported it with the "Remove Links" option. I'm using batteries and will continue to do so. If the thermostat is sleeping after pressing the "Set" button to pair it then how does the ISY see the device, identify the type, and attempt to download it's database? Anything else to consider? Michel Kohanim
Hi shannong, Are you using the same PLM as the one used with HouseLinc? If so, did you do a factory reset on it? If not, can you please go to Tools | Diagnostics | PLM Info/Status and let me know your PLM version? As far as this specific thermostat, my experience has been: 1. It may go to sleep mode (especially if the battery is low) 2. If it's not set to master mode, then it may not get registered to ISY and, furthermore, you may not get status updates from it when added With kind regards, Michel Link to comment

New batteries. Adds to Houselinc fine. Sleep mode even after pressing the Set button to link? PLM Status: aa.bb.cc v9B/Connected 2. It's not currently Master. I'll try that. Not getting updates when not a Master is annoying but I guess I can query it instead. I haven't seen the ability to check for or set Master in the Programs UI. Am I missing it? Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
shannong, You cannot set Master mode in UI as it's not in their APIs. Do you have HouseLinc running at the same time as ISY? With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
shannong
shannong, You cannot set Master mode in UI as it's not in their APIs. Oh. Interesting. You can set Master in HouseLinc. shannong, Do you have HouseLinc running at the same time as ISY? Yes. But the 2441ZTH is not in HouseLinc. I was able to add other devices and including the 2441TH. I'll try shutting down HouseLinc and add it again. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi shannong, Oh. Interesting. You can set Master in HouseLinc. Quite interesting indeed ... Looking forward to your finding. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
shannong
Hi shannong, Looking forward to your finding. Shutting down HL had no effect, but I was able to add it after unplugging the PLM that HL was using. Strange considering I have removed it from HL and had also done a factory reset on the thermostat. Michel Kohanim
Hi shannong, Thank you. I am scratching my head as I cannot fathom a reason why its existence on powerline should cause problems. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
