sef9721 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Hello Having trouble with my isy controller. For some reason it will not send text messages to my phone. I was working fine and then just stopped working all together. Tried to test it on the dashboard but I keep getting error message in blue Mail server DNS error. Under that in red SMTP_ERRORS-mail.universal-devices.com. Then in blue TCP client DNS error. under that in red mobilincconnect.com. Any help would be appreciated
Michel Kohanim Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Hi sef9721, If you have configured your ISY with a static IP address, in all likelihood your router does not like DNS relay. What you might want to try for DNS is 8.8.4.4. Or, if you don't mind, revert to DHCP and use DHCP reservations instead of configuration using static IP address. With kind regards, Michel
