sirknight Posted April 5, 2014 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Hello thank you for everyone's time I am new to this form and the ISY as I just got mine a month ago. I have the ISY 994I IR PRO I also have 6 Insteon 2476D switches and 6 new 2477D switches on the way. I was able to program the switches without any real issues. I also can control the switches with very little lag from the switch it's self or the Program. The switches turn on and off with no issues. The problem is that if I use the switch it's self or the program it can take sometimes a couple minutes to show up in the program indicator screen the that switch state has changed from off to on and so forth. about 25% of the time I can turn the switches on and off and even after a hr. the status will never change on the screen. It is the same result when using the mobilinc app. I have not been able to come up with a reason for this leg yet especially considering if I use the computer to adjust these devices there is virtually no lag. LeeG Posted April 5, 2014 Share Posted April 5, 2014 Insteon devices do not sit on messages. Press a paddle/button and the device sends a message. If it takes minutes for this status change to appear against the device node I would look for one or more Programs that are looping consuming large amounts of ISY resources. Status that never appears could also be Insteon network issues. Are the two 120v legs coupled with a pair of correctly installed Access Points?
