I recently purchased a Powerlinc Modem 2413s with ISY 994i. I am a licensed electrician and can handle all of the installation with ease. Somehow during powering up I'm sure I did something wrong because it seams from the reading I have done I accidentally messed up my first modem. The light blinks constantly. Reset doesn't work so I think this one is DOA.

I ordered a new 2413s and would like to know if there is a video or instruction manual that specifically tells me step by step all I need to know about this combination and first time setup. I would rather not have to wait till another unit comes in after I have done something wrong for the second time.

I doubt you damaged the 2413S PLM.

When you say Reset. Was it through the Administrative Console or a Factory Reset with the Set Button?

 

Where you using the start linking method or the New Insteon Device choice in the Link Management drop down menu, to add module? The flashing LED may indicate it is in the Linking Mode that was not stopped before trying to do something else.
