seendbl Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 I recall finding information on this before, but cannot find it now. How do I update the SSL certificate on the ISY to avoid the error on logging in via Chrome, Firefox and Explorer browsers?
Michel Kohanim Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 Hi seendbl, It would be very difficult without having a Certificate Authority (such as verisign) signed certificate. In short, you have to install a certificate into ISY: http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/I ... 0Guide.pdf Once that's done, you need to import ISY's certificate into the trusted store for your browser. For instance, for IE: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... te_Install With kind regards, Michel
seendbl Posted May 21, 2014 Author Posted May 21, 2014 Can the import be done only on the PRO? I get the same prompts whether I am on IE, Firefox of Chrome.
Michel Kohanim Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Hi seendbl, No, not at all. It should work on all. The reason you are getting those warnings is because the certificate's CN (common name) is not the same as the URL for ISY or that the certificate is not signed by a certificate authority. With kind regards, Michel
Steven Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I'm trying to import a certificate to my 994i. Using the dashboard, I bring up the Server Certificate dialog, and import my PFX file. It asks me if I want to import, and I say yes. Then I get this error: Socket Open Failed javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.security.ProviderException: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: SunTlsKeyMaterial KeyGenerator not available What does that mean?
Michel Kohanim Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Hi Steven, I already responded to your other post. Simply upgrade to 4.2.10 and retry. With kind regards, Michel
