LeeG Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Make sure the Leak Sensor is near a Dual Band device. It must be manually put into linking mode as all battery devices require. Double check Insteon address for things like 5 & 6 or 6 & 8 being misread.

I press the set button for about 5 sec. and it flashes green so I think its in the right mode. I have placed next to an IO link about 2 feet from the sensor and about 3 inches from the ISY 944i and still no luck. I wonder if its not working

FlyingFish Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I'm having exactly the same problem. I'm certain the I'm in wireless range (remotelinc 2 works from same location) yet I get an error trying to add the leak sensor. Any suggestions on how to get this going? thanks for the help!
LeeG Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3. Put the Leak Sensor into linking mode with its Set button. Using New INSTEON Device, enter Insteon Address, Name of choice, leave Device Type set to default Auto Discover. Post the event trace of the inability to add Leak Sensor.

LeeG Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Stop the activity to 0E.18.77 that is being done at the same time 28.4F.F4 is being added to the ISY. Multiple requests were sent to 0E.18.77 during the device add process. The issue is 28.4F.F4 did not respond to the device type request. When 28.4F.F4 does respond to commands the Hops Left count is 1. This means it is not communicating directly with the PLM.

The Leak Sensor appears not to be using the Dual Band aspects of the 2413 PLM.
