Intermittant communication with Switchlinc relay

I have an Insteon 2476s Switchlinc relay that is not turning on when requested in programs.  It does not work regularly.  I bought a filterlinc, but I'm not sure where to start.  What kind of devices are most likely to cause interference?  I had to replace a keypadlinc that was buzzing and blinking about a couple weeks ago.  I cannot think of any appliances we may have added recently.  We do have several UPS units in place and I may start with them as I understand they can cause issues.

So I guess my question is, are there specific devices or classes of devices that are more likely to cause communications issues?

Are there any troubleshooting tools I can use to narrow down troubled devices?  Is there a thread already in existence you could point me to?

I think about ready to replace the SwitchLinc with a dual-band device to see if that helps as it could be the device.

Thanks in advance for any tips or pointers.

The first thing you need to do is ensure both sides of the electrical feed has been coupled / bridged. You need at least two dual band devices to ensure proper coupling.

You will confirm this via the four tap method outlined in the installation manual for the devices you have installed. Once that is done you can start working on the noise makers / signal suckers.

The buzzing/blinking KPL is likely due to LED or CFL load connected.  I had an older KPL that just did not like my LED bulbs.  Newer KPL resolved that issue and the old one moved to a location with no load attached.
