homejones
I just purchased the Elk module. Playing around with programs and I tried programming an Elk Voice announcement to announce a word (programmed as a "Then" statement in a test program). When I select "Run Then", my Elk is not announcing individual words, but will announce a programmed phrase. Seems odd - anything I am doing wrong? homejones
I think I figured out part of my problem. If I build a three word Then statement, the last word gets announced, seems like my Elk does not announce the first couple words in a statement. apostolakisl
I will tell you that it is not supposed to do that. Mine doesn't. Sorry that I can't tell you more.
homejones
Last update on this. When I insert two 500ms silent "words", the third word and onward is announced clearly. Seems like my Elk is cutting off the first second of voice announcements.
apostolakisl
Do you have any issues using Elk rules to send speech commands? Again, my ISY requires nothing before the word I want to be spoken for it to work.
