HA installer advice

Hi

I'm a electrical contractor and have been learning about HA so I can add it into my business, I have been installing insteon devises in my home and creating scenes,  programs ect. just looking for someone who is a installer and  can give me a little advise on getting started. any advise would be great

Thanks

I used to work pt with an installer to make a few extra bucks.  I think that the ability to demonstrate the product makes the sale. So if your home will be set up with Insteon maybe put a few cameras in non private areas and show customers the actual lights going on and off etc from your phone or table during the sales pitch.  Let them try it. That beats a couple of lamplincs in a demo case.

If you have an office that would work well to and more private.

I think take your time and get comfortable with it and then move slowly into the installs.

With the ISY you can remote in and make changes to scenes and programs.  Maybe offer a service contract for re-occurring revenue etc.

Hi Digger

Thanks for advise. that was my plan to show case the system in my home, I've been going slow playing with different programs, scenes to try to get used to working with it , don't want to get into a job and look incompetent , hard to get referrals that way
