madman Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Quick question. Iḿ about to aquire an ISY controller. In order to link ISY to an Insteon Micro On/Off Switch, do I have to use the "set" button on the Micro swicth? Having to push the "set" button would kinda suck, since I have some micro swicthes in some pretty hard to reach places.

Having said this best practices for any new Insteon device is as follows. 1. Factory reset all devices to ensure they are in a default state. 2. Enroll them into the ISY before you make the final install. 3. Verify all wiring is tight and firm. 4. Cover up the Insteon ID with clear tape to ensure its protected from dirt and falling off.
