Clif
When I log into my ISY994i, I get the the interface, then is simply closes the window before I can do anything. I have tried using 3 different browsers, but they all close the window before I can do anything. What do I need to do to fix this action? Thanks! Clif Link to comment
MustangChris04
Are you trying to get to the admin interface or the dashboard? It should be downloading a java web start file to your computer in which you will need to open to access this. Make sure JRE is installed from java.com Link to comment
Clif
Thanks, I have Java 8 Update 25 installed. Yes, I keep trying to to access the admin interface via this URL: isy.universal-devices.com/994i/ and as soon as I type in admin/admin, it closes the browser. Link to comment
MustangChris04
Try using the following url: http://192.168.1.1/admin Replace the IP address with the local IP of your ISY. Does it do the same thing? Link to comment
Clif
well, I just tried accessing it by it's local IP address, and it still closes itself. I tried it on my wife's computer, and it works fine. So, I guess something on my laptop is having an issue. Link to comment

Clif
Thanks for all the good advice. I will see if I can clear my java cache today to see if that helps. Link to comment
Teken
You should also check to see if the ISY is being blocked by any in suite fire wall / anti virus. If so please do white list the ISY for access so this isn't an issue. This may also be a case where a browsers pop up settings have changed or set too high. Another thing to check is to use in private browsing and see if it makes a difference if the above does not work. Link to comment
