Disable the LED flash on transmit on KPL?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to disable the green light that flashes on the KPL when I press a button?  Thought it would be a setting in ISY but can't seem to find it.

According to the Owner's Manual the error blink can be turned off using software, but even HouseLinc doesn't offer that option.

To be fair the HL2 Software has not been updated for more than a year. I have to gather if it was still in production these options would be present and available for use.

It would defeat the whole purpose of having features which are present but can not be controlled. The reality is it comes down to each vendor to decide to code to support these options.

In my view it only makes sense because that is why they are there! Every time I read something along the lines of *how come this isn't available* I just back and wait for the fall out.

Perhaps the stars will align one day and the Insteon Gods will make it all happen across all platforms and hardware. In the interim its best the OP place this request in the appropriate forum asking for support for said feature options.

Otherwise it will get pushed down to the bottom with the rest of the threads. Michel has asked that the forum members create a poll to see the need and demand of such.

It would probably be a good idea to do so if you see value in it.
