paulbates Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 I guess the bright side is that there will "going out of business sales" and the opportunity to pick over the carcass
G W Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 The DOS was different, fair enough... I was remembering the programming; its ROM BASIC interpreter was MS BASIC and almost identical to the version used on IBM PCs. I was able to move my programs to the MS DOS world and run them on PCs. That's because BASIC is a language and runs on many operating systems. I was a big fan of BASIC and still love it. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
Guest larrywa123 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Didn't Circuit City sell the whole Source chain to Bell years ago?. The chain suddenly switched from pushing Rogers phone junk to Bell phones and plans. I was told they are owned bt Bell as another outlet to push their stuff.
Brian H Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 My local Radio Shack was not on the closing list but didn't know if it would be one of the Sprint stores. They also said Amazon was looking at some of the stores. My thoughts are maybe in large cities not my local rural town in CT. The sales receipt for my purchase also said. Ignore all warranty information in literature in what you purchased. All are thirty days. Some electronic devices like GPS units had a 14 day return period. Though the manufacturers warranty would still apply.
paulbates Posted March 31, 2015 Author Posted March 31, 2015 So that didn't take long. I dropped a package off at the post office this morning, and swung by RadioShack to get button batteries for the remote start. The lights were on, but nothing was home. Empty store. I missed the opportunity to pick through parts
