I would like to have outside lights come on after dark for any key press on the Schlage connect locks. Specifically I would like lights on as soon as the Schlage button is pressed. 

 

Is there a way to do that? 

You might be able to do this by setting the tamper alarm level to the most sensitive level and have the ISY react to the alarm.

I would think installing a motion activated light fixture would be the most direct approach. Or install a Insteon motion sensor in that area to turn on the exterior light(s) when someone approaches.

 

Using option one is great if you only need that immediate area to be lit. Where as using option two provides perimeter lighting where ever there is a light fixture.

 

I see value in both but ultimately it comes down to the OP's own needs.
