E-mail issue

I updated my gmail password under "e-mail/notifications" to my new gmail password.  Now when I test it says, "Mail Server Error" and "Password Not Accepted".  I have entered the password a few times but I get the same error.  I know I'm entering my gmail's new password correctly.  I've been using gmail 2-step verification for months now and it was working correctly until I changed my password in the ISY.

Any ideas?

When using 2FA with Gmail (as I do) I had to generate "App Passwords" which you use instead of your main password. I never got the regular Gmail pasword to work once 2FA was enabled.

Go to

.

https://myaccount.google.com/

.

and about halfway down the page is the section you want, App Passwords. Click that and define a device.

Be sure to copy the password down somewhere safe, since you are shown the password only once. It's easy to delete and make a new one, though.

You updated to your new application specific password? Just changing your main Google password shouldn't prompt a change in isy I would think.
