larryllix
ISY doesn't use TCP to talk Insteon. Your error looks like it is between your app and ISY. Have you changed locations between your LAN and WAN IP addresses during communications? Link to comment
diggler
nothing changed on the network. if i put battery back in and hit set button activate plunger it works and isy sees it, then couple seconds later i get the red flashing led and cant do anything with it. Link to comment
larryllix
Then comms to ISY are OK. I don't know what a red flasher on a door sensor means. Did you read the online manual? The paper that comes with it is almost completely useless so find the one on the SmartHome, com site included with the sales info. save it in a folder. They can disappear. Link to comment
diggler
found one online and its useless. just weird, both sensors stopped working around same time. just replaced this one first and having issues with it. tomorrow morning ill see if the other one gives me issues. Link to comment
larryllix
A blinking LED on an Insteon device usually means it is still in linking mode and will not report regular operations to ISY. found one online and its useless. just weird, both sensors stopped working around same time. just replaced this one first and having issues with it. tomorrow morning ill see if the other one gives me issues.
