ingeborgdot Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 I can't get into my console anymore from another location. What is going on this time? It says Socket open failed javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: server chose SSLv3 but protocol version is not enabled or supported by the client. Then it goes to error. XML Parse error https and my ip What can I do? Thanks.
LeeG Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 The Admin Console no longer supports SSL because of the security issues with SSL. What ISY level and UI level is being used (Help | About). From 4.3.10 announcement, but I believe even 3.2.30 indicated SSL3 no longer supported. IMPORTANT SSLv3 is now disabled. All models now support TLS1.2 and high grade cipher suites
ingeborgdot Posted July 12, 2015 Author Posted July 12, 2015 ISY99 is what I am using. What can I do?
LeeG Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Sorry, I do not know what can be done with the 99i. I would move to a supported 994i. Perhaps UDI knows a work around.
LeeG Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Sure. The 4.3.10 image supports TLS1.2 and high grade cipher suites. From the 4.3.10 announcement .... IMPORTANT SSLv3 is now disabled. All models now support TLS1.2 and high grade cipher suites
Michel Kohanim Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Hi ingeborgdot, I am so very sorry but as LeeG correctly pointed out, ISY99 only supports SSL and SSL has been disabled by almost everything out there. With kind regards, Michel
ingeborgdot Posted July 12, 2015 Author Posted July 12, 2015 So I guess I finally have to break down and spend more money and pay for a 994i. Any links.
