ashii Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Is there a way to set Schlage Keypad locks to Tamper after sunset till sunrise and than set it back to Forced Entry with ISY994? Thank You for any help?
stusviews Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Nope. The only program options allow you to check the state of the lock or to lock or unlock the lock.
Xathros Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 It MAY be possible actually. I believe the ZWave options for the locksets can be accessed via the /Rest interface. If you have the network module, you may be able to have the ISY call itself via the rest interface to set the necessary options. I resource for each setting and call those from programs. -Xathros

Thank You for any help? I am curious as to the use case and how this is applied in a real world application? Can you provide some more clarity and insight as to your overall use case and intent for the benefit of the forum members?
Xathros Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Being a user of the Schlage locks myself, I can see where I would want to reduce the sensitivity of the alarm during the day when the kids and dogs are bumping around and triggering the alarm by accident but go back to high sensitivity at night when the house is calm. -Xathros

Xathros Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 No, however my locks spend most of their time in the locked position even during the daytime. -Xathros
