FanLinc com issue?

Hello all,

 

  Occasionally, maybe once every 5 or 10 times my front room ceiling FAN (FanLinc v.41) is turned ON,  either directly from my ISY994i PRO/IR, thru a program or even MobiLinc, not only does the fan turn ON but at the same time, the fan LIGHT also "shows" that it turned on (usually 25%), but is NOT actually ON. I have 3 LampLincs within 10 or 15 feet of the FanLinc. I also tried adding another Access Point in the same room, but nothing seems to help. Even when queried, the light will still show it is ON at 25% when it is not. This is the only INSTEON device in my home that has been giving me problems and is a recent replacement for a FanLinc I had that lost its HIGH speed. I did not have these issues with my previous FanLinc and did a replace device after installing the new one. At this point, I have no idea what is causing this and hope someone here can help.

Hi Kush,

 

If upon a successful query you still get 25% for the light, then I suspect that either:

1. The light attached to the fan does not support dimming (i.e. is off even though it has to be on @25%)

2. The FanLinc itself has an issue
