ahwman
I just installed an Insteon 2663-222 On/Off outlet and it's working fantastic. That said, I'm curious what the default state is after a power failure as I've got my DVR equipment plugged into this outlet and would hate to think that after a power failure I would lose my ability to record if the default state is off. stusviews
Insteon has changed the default state of some devices in the past. There's no guarantee that a future revision will have that same default. Link to comment
Brian H
I have also seen different hardware revision Insteon Modules have a different default state. 2456S3 ApplianceLincs. Early and latest revisions defaulted to state they where in at power loss. Two hardware revisions 4.1 and 4.15 if memory serves me. Defaulted to Off even if it was On at power loss. Link to comment
