fasttimes Posted October 6, 2015 Share Posted October 6, 2015 I'm trying to rebuild my network because I'm getting poor performance with scenes responding. When I did File | Restore Devices I'm getting a System Busy and "Reset PLM" dialog and it just hangs there. I unplugged the PLM and held the reset button down for 10 seconds but to no avail. LeeG Posted October 6, 2015 Share Posted October 6, 2015 File | Restore Devices can take hours to complete as every link record in every device including PLM is processed. Any battery powered devices have to be restored one at a time. It sounds like an Insteon network problem existed before the Restore Devices was started. Also by resetting the PLM its link database was cleared so the issues are building. If the PLM firmware is v.9B or below it could have developed the capacitor issue which may need to be resolved with new capacitors or a new PLM.
