isyrocks! Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 I was having trouble communicating with my Garage Door. I rebooted my ISY and when it came up all the sudden it said it could not communicate with my devices. In PLM Info/Status it Says "Connected" In PLM Links Table Count it says "0" (I wonder if when I tried to restore it somehow on the PLM links got wiped?) I powered everything off and then reconnected the PLM first. The LED light is lit. I then restored power to my ISY 994i v4.3.26. I have attempted to restore the PLM once but I couldn't tell if it took. The ISY is currently still working on stuff after the reboot so I can't really tell what is going on. It keeps popping up with cannot communicate with xyz etc... PLM Info = #2413S v2.0 1444 (Smarthome) Suggestions?
paulbates Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 It has the symptoms of a dead/dying PLM You can try Restore PLM to resuscitate it until you replace it... that may work for a little while.
isyrocks! Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Ok, My ISY calmed down and finished it's process after the reboot. Looks like it still can't connect to devices. My PLM links table shows "0". I tried to restore the PLM and did not get any pop up errors. My PLM links table still shows "0". I assume that is not normal correct? Should I try to replace the PLM at this point? My PLM is 10 months old.
