I have a switchlinc that has worked flawlessly for years but now when you turn it on either manually or remotely it ramps up and down and brightness over and over at about a five second cycle rate. I have tried a restore from the ISY but to no avail. Do you think a wire has come loose or is it just time to replace it?

There's no way to determine the wiring from here. You're in the best place to determine that. Or a factory reset may suffice.

I would try the wiring check. Then factory reset and ISY Restore .

Though we have seen other reports of such actions be a failed device.
