wwat Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Hello Michel, These are two pieces of the equation that i'm currently looking into. I've read a rather long thread at the SH forum about the touch screens and the IES web site said they are integrating their product with ISY and I read on this site that you are developing new functionality to interact with the screen. Do you have a time frame for the release and will their be a further charge? Regarding the IR trasmit functionality, I read that you have developed the electronics and are near beta but you also mention that SH might be coming out with a solution. Can you please clarify the status of all this. Also, I will be purchasing the ISY99iIRPro version of your product, have you got any idea of the upgrade cost for the additional hardware. As you can imagine this is the sort of information that is essential for making purchasing decisions so please excuse me if it seems I'm being very direct with questions. Thanks, Wayne
Michel Kohanim Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Hello Wayne, All excellent questions: 1. ISY already integrates with IES. Apart from the cost of IES touch panel there are no additional costs 2. Yes, we have developed both IR out and IR in functionality If your equipment is far from ISY, then I do recommend IRLinc (input) and hopefully SmartLabs IR out. This way, you do not have to run wires from your ISY to your equipment nor would you have to buy IR extenders.
