I've posted this now in numerous topics with no solutions yet. I have the following:

ISY 994i/IR Pro v 4.3.26

Insteon Heat Pump Thermostat 2732-242

When ever I add this to the ISY it does not show me current state. Also I've added a picture of the options I get when I try to add it to programs, It acts like a light. Please help.

Hello,

I would humbly suggest you engage UDI directly about this matter for the quickest and direct path for resolution. Given this device is so brand new its probably not a surprise that not all elements have been incorporated as required.

UDI over the years has tried to follow what the developer documents say. But sometimes the e-docs and hardware do not agree with one another and thus further root cause analysis is required.

I don't think it's being properly linked... There are a couple different methods.. Auto Discover or you can select the device... which have you tried and, if you're selecting, which option are you using?

Stu posted an image of it properly linked... you might first factory reset before adding..

It's a wireless device and possible comms are bad when linking. If you have a lamplinc or any range extender you might try plugging nearby. Open Event viewer to Level 3 and record linking events and post back.

I don't see anything wrong in the trace.. comms look good so??

maybe someone else can point something out.

You need to factory reset the device after each attempt at linking...

I'm trying to find out what It's being linked as...

Link 3 (all zeros) is the End of List link record. This is correct.

Under Admin Console, what does Help | About show for

Firmware?

I don't believe 4.4.1 offers anything new in ways of supporting this TSTAT. But if you update the controller to the latest Beta this will at least confirm there is a bug in the support of this new device.

With my 2441ZTH thermostats I had a lot of problem linking them properly.

IIRC I must factory reset them about four or five times before they linked in correctly. These thermostats seem to have some magic formula to factory reset them properly.

I am not sure if this model has a backup battery that will require removing but if not, it must have a very large carry over capacitor that make take several minutes to discharge before doing the factory reset power up. Check the online manual.

OK. I was bored this week end sitting in a hotel. So I upgraded my system to v5.0.2 to see if this would help. I now can program most every thing. The only thing I can't change is the mode thru programming. The option is there but it doesn't work. I'm now thinking everything is synced correctly now its a software issue with the ISY. Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for full functionality.

Did you submit that service request to UDI as I had suggested? This is the only way they will be able to track this issue and offer an official fix.

As I am sure you won't be the last person needing a remedy for this TSTAT.
