dbencivengo Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 My ISY 99I was just fine yesterday but today I can't reach it via Ethernet. Cycled the power, moved it to another switch etc. It thinks it has an IP assigned, comms lights on port A are blinking but no console access, no Telnet and no resonse to a ping. Reset my DHCP server, no effect. Telnet via port B works. It keeps spitting out the following sort of stuff. Tried RS, FR, cycling power no luck. Any suggestions? Or is it just broken? http://192.168.1.201:59977/> Refreshing Device Configurations LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 E8 69 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 E8 B1 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 E9 93 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 EF CC 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F0 1D 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F0 1D 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F6 6A 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F6 6E 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F6 6E 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F6 AF 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F6 AF 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F8 0 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F8 86 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F9 52 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F9 52 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] H_ERROR: -2 : fffffff9 LOGGER: -2 : n=[null] c=[fffffff] a=[null] H_ERROR: -2 : 2 LOGGER: -2 : n=[null] c=[2] a=[null] H_ERROR: -2 : 3 LOGGER: -2 : n=[null] c=[3] a=[null] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F9 56 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[3 F9 57 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[5 8B F7 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[5 8B F7 1] c=[ ] a=[ ] LOGGER: -2 : n=[9 F7 AB 1] c=[ ] a=[ ]
dbencivengo Posted December 14, 2008 Author Posted December 14, 2008 Apparently something was completely confused. The serial Telnet link allowed me to enter a fixed IP and I was able to communicate again with the ISY-99i. Does anyone know if all that "logger" text means something?
Michel Kohanim Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Hello dbencivengo, Yes, -2 means device communication error: i.e. the PLM does not receive acknowledges back from devices. If you have had a power surge, then in all likelihood your PLM is shot (and you will have the same problem again within days). May I humbly suggest a replacement PLM? With kind regards, Michel Apparently something was completely confused. The serial Telnet link allowed me to enter a fixed IP and I was able to communicate again with the ISY-99i.
