Parse failure

I am running Homeseer 2 connected to an ISY 994i, which was working fine until about a month ago (I mad no system changes I can recall a month ago). Now, when I boot up the Homeseer app, I get this message in the log file:

12/20/2015 12:08:18 AM  - ISY Insteon - COMM: Parse failure: <Event seqnum="8" sid="uuid:28"><control>_22</control><action>1</action><node></node><eventInfo><totalCostToday>0.000000</totalCostToday><totalCostPeriod>0.000000</totalCostPeriod><totalUsagePeriod>0.000000</totalUsagePeriod><cycleEndTime>2015/12/20 12:08:19 AM</cycleEndTime></eventInfo></Event>

I have reset the ISY back to factory specs, and deleted al;l devices in the ISY and in HS2, and I still get the error.

I'm running firmware 4.3.26 on the ISY.

Any idea how I can correct this error?

Thanks in advance for any help ....

This sounds like your ISY IP address may have changed on your LAN.

Do you have the ISY IP address locked down in your router ?

Thanks, but the IP address has not changed - I've set it to static in the ISY (though not in the router) and I am able to access it without any trouble at the static address (.200) from anywhere on the LAN. I think something else is causing the problem.

I just noticed that when I click on some options on the ISY home page - for example, the 'Variable' option - I get a strange error:

error, Loading: /vars/definitions/2/

It's as if the ISY has had it's internal (flash) memory corrupted. If that is the problem, does anyone know how to restore the flash memory?

Regards.

Without reserving that IP spot in your router your router can assign a duplicate device to the same IP address at any time.

Last time I played with HS2 ISY was just a dream and the Hub interface was a rough hack. ISY had better conditional handling.

I'm guessing that you use @bpwwer's HS ISY Plugin? I would probably start on the HS board in his forum.

I know in the past, ISY FW changes can affect his plugin

Thanks, I am using the plugin and I'll post this problem on the HS forum as well. I'm also going to replace the PC on which HS2 is running, and I will explore rewriting the SD card as Teken suggested above.

Thanks for the advice. Regards.
