larryllix Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Several times after getting home late when my auto-lights have come on we have experienced the lights in the room going off and can't explain the event. This has only started happening recently. About three times I have noticed this happening but I always figured my Just Home program had a program quirk but couldn't find any logic error. I have replaced my about 2 year old, PLM about a month ago but this seems to just have started happening a week or so ago, so didn't think it was related to that. In the events log I can't see anything that should have triggered such an event. This all makes me suspect a NodeLink or node bug, as the event happened right around 11:00 PM +/- 1 minute and no other events appear to be happening. The Fan Running status update event appears to be right about the correct time of the lights out. Each time this involved 4 SwitchLinc dimmers simultaneously ramping off. These devices are all in scenes together and the scenes are controlled by a State variable so a scene, program, or variable changing could be the cause. Here is a section from my log at that time. ----------------------------- Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 1 Tue 2016/01/05 10:58:29 PM System Log Foyer / Humidifier On Tue 2016/01/05 10:59:00 PM Program Log X10 C10 Tue 2016/01/05 10:59:00 PM Program Log X10 C10 On (3) Tue 2016/01/05 10:59:00 PM Program Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Humidity 32% Tue 2016/01/05 10:59:00 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 -1 Tue 2016/01/05 10:59:00 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 1 Tue 2016/01/05 10:59:30 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 -1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:00:02 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Fan Running State 1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:00:31 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:00:32 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 -1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:01:02 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:01:32 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 -1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:02:03 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:02:33 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 -1 Tue 2016/01/05 11:03:04 PM System Log Gathering Room / GathRm VenStat Custom Control 2 1 Tue 2016/01/05 Thanks for any help with investigating this.
io_guy Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I'd review your programs in the ISY. NodeLink currently has absolutely no ability to control an Insteon device, variable or scene.

io_guy Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 No idea, ISY is not my specialty. All I can say is NodeLink doesn't have code to modify devices.
