Error Log questions

I'm starting to get more into my ISY, the ISY Portal, Amazon Echo and IFTTT and having a lot of fun with it. I'm now to the point of reading the error log and trying to understand the errors to see if I need to fix anything. I got the ISY last May and just now looked at my error log. I dumped it to the computer and cleared it out because it was huge. So, as of yesterday, I have this:

I read the manual so I know that 5012 says "UPNP subscriber didn't reply to the event:couldn't write header". But what does this mean and what do I do to debug/fix it?

5006 says "UPNP SUBSCRIPTION NOT FOUND FOR CANCELATION". Again, what do I do to debug/fix this.

170001 I understand to be informational and not an error except that the last 3 are saying the same thing with an error code.

I don't know if this has anything to do with the ISY portal, IFTTT or Amazon Echo.

Would like some guidance on interpreting and fixing this.

Thanks,

Amro

My router (Asus RT-AC68U) has UPnP enabled. However, I setup a Port Forward as follows:

Service Name: ISY

PortRange: 443

Local IP: ISY IP address (ISY is setup as DHCP, but in the router, I manually assign an IP address to the ISY)

Local Port: 443

Protocol: TCP

It may be the router is querying ISY for UPnP rules.  If you aren't using it for anything else you could turn it off in the router and see if the error stops.

Hi waterbaby64,

5006, 5012, 5014 errors are related to clients that subscribe to ISY such as the Admin Console, MobiLinc, etc.

ISY expects subscribers to gracefully unsubscribe before shutting down. This said, most clients don't especially when they go to sleep. As such, ISY actively sends heart beat signals to all subscribers and checks the packet counts to make sure they are still online. If they are not, then ISY expires the subscription and releases all the resources. So, all those 5011 and 5012s are related to clients not gracefully unsubscribing and I wouldn't worry about them.

5006 simply means that a client unsubscribed with a subscription ID that no longer exists.

With kind regards,

Michel
