Switchlinc not responding to a scene

Hi all

I changed out my X10 dimmers for Insteon 2476D dimmers in my rec-room (6 of them in total all V4.0). I have a KeypadLinc to control the scenes for the rooms. I found that one 2476 will not respond to scenes I setup using my ISY26. The other 5 dimmers respond just fine.

I can control that dimmer using the ISY from my computer, but not otherwise. I have a second keypadLinc that I use to turn each light group ON/OFF and it can't control it either.

All the dimmers are powered from the same source installed in 2 banks of 3 dimmers each.

I'm guessing its a faulty dimmer, but why can I control it from the ISY when it won't respond to the keypadlincs?

Hello RF_Burns,

The first thing I suggest is to do a restore device (right mouse click on the SWL and click Restore Device) on your faulty SWL.

There are also newer SWLs (600W versions only) which only work with i2 commands. So, perhaps, you would want to wait for 2.6.13 beta to see if that takes care of the problem. If not, then it's surely the switch.

With kind regards,

Michel

Bonus, that worked. I only did the restore device on the SWL itself, not within the scenes and it is working fine now.

Thanks!

Hello RF_Burns,

I am so glad that it works now. But, now, I suspect noise issues that prevented it from being programmed originally. Please keep an eye on it for any abnormal (especially scene related) behavior.

With kind regards,

Michel
