smokegrub
After many, many tries I finally got a TriggerLinc into linking mode. It worked for 3 days then stopped. I tried to put it into linking mode to restore it but I could never get the linking light to flash even when a few inches from dual-band devices and the PLM. I then followed the steps to factory reset it. I deleted it and the two programs that used it, removed the battery and held the set button down as the battery was inserted. The set button light would not come on. I removed and replaced the battery and repeated the reset procedure several times again near dual-band devices and the PLM. Nothing. Any ideas? I have one of these installed at another location and a different ISY. It linked on the first try and is about 40 years away from the nearest dual-band device. I think I must have a defective device here. Link to comment

Teken
Just for reference can you indicate what the internal white sticker says for hardware revision and production date along with the ISY firmware. Link to comment

The linking mode is independent of any responder. There doesn't even need to be a responder at all to put the TriggerLinc into linking mode. Link to comment

I don't have a triggerlinc but on all my battery operated devices the led lights with momentary press of set button. I would make sure you have good battery, that it's installed correctly and that the contacts are in good shape. As Stu noted. You should be able to take it out in a field, place it into linking mode and see the led blink. Jon... Link to comment
smokegrub
The LED will not blink no matter what I do and despite replacing the battery 3 times. I think the device is dead. Just for reference can you indicate what the internal white sticker says for hardware revision and production date along with the ISY firmware. It is a 0215REV 1.B The ISY is 4.3.26 (both) Link to comment
