salex319
A while back my ISY994i stopped executing programs triggered by an external event like a light switch or keypad button. Scheduled events work fine and I can turn things on/off from the Admin Console. I got a new PLM and installed it today hoping it would solve the problem but nothing has changed. I'm not sure how to proceed. Link to comment
jerlands
Did you happen to "Delete Modem" before replacing PLM? Open Event Viewer to Level 3 and locally turn on a switchlinc or press the keypad button. You should see the events in the trace. If not PLM is missing the links. You can do "Show PLM Links Table" and search for device. Also will provide number of links in PLM. Jon... Link to comment
PurdueGuy
Did you follow the PLM replacement procedure? Be sure to follow it closely. http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:File_Menu#Replace_Modem_.28PLM.29 Link to comment

salex319
I suspected there was something straightforward I needed to do and sure enough "Restore Modem" did the trick. Thank you all very much! Link to comment
